Jim Spoonts serves as Executive Director of Mosaix Global Network. He and his wife Liz have been married for 26 years and have three children: John (24), James (21), and Missy (19). All now reside in Denton, Texas.
Following 23 years in real estate development, Jim joined Global Missions Fellowship as full-time church planter mobilizing dozens of churches (including his home church Denton Bible Church) to participate in church planting strategies in Russia, Venezuela, Brazil and Mexico. These strategies involved leadership training, evangelistic campaigns, and pastor training. As Country Coordinator for Russia, he and his staff team facilitated a national church planting strategy for the Russian Baptist Union. The strategy included development of church partnerships between American and Russian churches who work together in strengthening and multiplying churches for Advancing the Gospel in Russia. Jim graduated Dallas Theological Seminary in May 2002 with a Masters Degree in Cross-Cultural Ministries. As Director of Church Relations with EvangeCube, a sister ministry of GMF, he trained and mobilized local ethnic churches cross-cultural evangelism. Jim served as Chairman of the Seminar Committee for the DFW Ethnic America Summit in April 2005. He continues to serve on the Steering Committee of DFW Mobilizers Network. |
