Welcome !
"The multi-ethnic church seeks to bring diverse people together in a counter-cultural way. In order to establish such a work, local church planters and reformers must be willing to put aside their own personal biases and preferences in order to lead others before God as one. Like the coaches in the film (Rdemember the Titans), we, too, must promote a spirit of inclusion in order to experience the power and pleasure of unity. To the degree we are willing to do so, 'the manifold wisdom of God will be made known through the church' to an unbelieving world (Ephesians 3:10). This will result in the salvation of souls and, progressively, the sanctification of the church."
Excerpt from the book, Building a Healthy Multi-ethnic Church by Mark DeYmaz (Release date - Fall, 2007: Jossey-Bass / Leadership Network)
"An inclusive worship style is one that includes the cultural elements of more than one racial group. It may be a mixture of several different racial worship styles or a style that is unique from all racial cultures. An inclusive worship style communicates to visitors of different races that they and their cultures are respected."
