Embrace Dependence

"More than anything else I’ve ever done or attempted, the multi-ethnic church requires me to embrace dependence in recognition that apart from God’s direct involvement, it cannot otherwise be established. The naïve expectation that says to God, 'I can’t wait to see how you pull this off,' daily informs my prayers, demands my patience and inspires my persistence.

In other words, there are no simple solutions, no shortcuts or strategies of man that can otherwise accomplish what only God can do in this regard. Rather, the multi-ethnic church is a work of the Holy Spirit and of faith that cannot otherwise be attained through human means or methods."
