Leadership Cohorts are equivalent to masters level training through which ministry leaders are immersed in the concept of Disruption, as it applies
to the present and future course of the North American Church, as outlined in the book, Disruption: Repurposing the Church to Redeem the Community.
Throughout the ten month cohort, you will:
-> Meet 7 times with Mark DeYmaz and other veteran
multiethnic church leaders for online discussion of books read, formal
and informal instruction;
-> Travel 2 times (typically 2.5 days/2 nights) to
cities for on-site interaction with the pastoral teams leading disruptive
churches in cities such as Denver, CO; Tampa, FL; Little Rock, AR; Dallas, TX; Jackson, MS; Grand Rapids, MI;
Cleveland & Cincinnati, OH, and more.
-> Be visited 1 time by Mark DeYmaz and/or another
Mosaix certified coach who will assist you and other leaders in your
church with on-site vision casting, strategic planning, and leadership development in your own context.
-> Perfect for entire church staff teams, or denominational leaders seeking to accelerate the vision among the
pastors you're working with in a specific conference, district, or region!
-> Typically involve 5-7 churches, a minimum of 15 and maximum of 25 paid and/or lay leaders.
"Mark's passion for church leaders in our districts have challenged cohort participants to transition their congregations into ethnically and economically diverse faith communities, and to thoughtfully engage the systemic challenges of surrounding communities by pressing in to spiritual, social justice, and economic realities and lead people beyond the church walls to Christ."
Rev. Stephanie Moore Hand, Vitality Strategist • Western North Carolina Conference UMC
